Sanibel real estate blog: They’re back!

A new report from the City of Sanibel showed 10,000 more cars crossed over the Sanibel causeway in March of this year compared to last. In August, a report from the city of Sanibel shows nearly 8,000 more cars crossed the causeway compared to last year at the same time.All looking for thatSanibel real estate perhaps? 

Traffic on the Sanibel Island is up across the board by approximately 4 percent compared to 2013.

And it’s not just Sanibel.

“It’s all of Lee County,” said Susan Hopwood, of Lee Department of Transportation.

Asked if the constant increase in traffic means there will be more seasonal traffic earlier this year, Hopwood said:  “Unless there’s a big snow storm in October up there it tends to stay pretty consistent.”
